Gorge FC 1 - 1 UVic Vikes Women



Gorge FC took the field under the lights of the University of Victoria's Centennial Stadium against the Womens UVic Vikes.

Gorge FC has played the women Vikes twice before drawing one and losing the second.

This game saw the roster bolstered by a number of "older" players. (thanks Travis, Wayne and Danny). It was a well played out affair with both goals happening in the first half.
The Vikes opened the scoring on a nice header goal and Gorge FC responding with a great give and go between Travis and Jordy with Travis doing the honours.

The Vikes team is well disciplined and play their positions well. They exploit open space and gave the boys all they could handle.
