Gorge FC travel over the Malahat to take on Cowichan Valley at McAdam Park in a B Cup Quarter Final game.

Gorge FC were stunned last year in the B Cup Final by an aggressive Cowichan side that dominated a cool midweek evening match. The following Sunday Cowichan were defeated by a plucky Oceanside team that earned the right to advance to the Provincials.

Gorge FC took revenge by defeating Oceanside in the Island Cup, serving notice that the stronger team did not advance.

So far in 2006/2007 league play, Gorge FC holds a two win, one draw record against Cowichan and the lads intend to continue the undefeated run.

Should be a great match.

Note: Gordon Head faces Peninsula in one Semi Final on Feb 10th and Bays will take on the winner of the Gorge FC v Cowichan game in the other Semi Final. The winner of the Gordon Head v Peninsula match will host the LISA B Cup Final on Feb 17.
