Clayton's strong game was capped off when he was called upon to take the penalty kick. He coolly strode up and placed the ball low and inside the right post. Clayton's understated style of play is very effective. He sees the field well and distributes the ball accurately whether a short pass or picking out a striker wide or long. When the opportunity arises, Clayton uses his good footwork and skill on the ball to produce effective runs and then either dishes off to an open man or goes for goal.
