The highest scoring game of Gorge’s 06/07 season. The note taker was unable to accurately track the assists due to being well over 40.

The midfielders and defenders played a very solid game keeping the ball from reaching Mateusz for the entire 1st half.

40 seconds into the match, Quinn rings one off the top bar that rebounds into heavy traffic in front of the net. David is able to control the ball amidst mayhem, sending the first ball between the posts for goal number 1.
5 minutes in, Jordy passes to Quinn who sends in a rocket but the keeper is able to punch it out above the net.
6 minutes in, Clayton takes charge to put Gorge’s 2nd goal in of the day.
9 minutes in, a combination from Russel to Jordy to Ryan L, and Ryan L places a beautiful shot into the net. Gorge has 3 goals
15 minutes in Jordy takes a run on his own and with fancy footwork, darts and dodges to score the 4th Gorge goal.
24 minutes in, Jordy is grabbed by the keeper in a questionable late tackle resulting in a hyper extended knee. Jordy is helped off the field and taken to hospital for x-rays.
30 minutes in Ryan E, rings a header off the top bar, but Kevin is on the scene to recover the loose ball and drill it into the net for the 5th goal.
At 37 minutes, TJ sets up Ryan E who is able to send it home for goal number 6
41 minutes in and another flurry of shots at the Nanaimo net is concluded by Kevin (I think) scoring goal number 7.

At the half way point the score is Gorge 7, Nanaimo 0.

Russel comes in as keeper in the second half and Mateusz puts in a solid shift out on the pitch.

55 minutes into the game, Clayton passes to Mohin, who sets up TJ for goal number 8.
At 71 minutes, Ryan E puts in the 9th goal.
79 minutes in, Clayton takes a pass from Ryan L and sends it between the posts for Gorge’s 10th goal.
At 84 minutes, the Quinnster concludes the scoring with goal number 11.

The game ends with Gorge having 11 goals and Nanaimo 0.
