Strong in the centre mid role, Ryan fills in easily as an attacking midfielder. If his first goal was a sublime piece of finishing, leaping to redirect Jordy's cross into the net, his second was a jaw dropper. Dribbling in from the right on a tight angle, Ryan launched a rocket into the far top corner of the goal "nearly tearing the net".
